Wanna see my guineas???

Not to change the subject but what is a fair price to pay for 8-9 month old guineas? thier is some one who is selling a few near me and they want $25 each, thier is a pied female, and 3 lavender males. I only want the pied female and one male what do you think is a fair price to pay for them?

thanks

to me, it does not change subject.

a fair price to pay for a guinea.. like 4 or 5 american bucks. for a new keet... like a day old where stores sell.. hmm, for a 8-9 month, maybe 5-6 bucks is reasonable i guess. why does it have to be 8-9 months old for?

if people like them want to give away like certain breeds in a group like that, they should be giving them out for a deal together, a better price than per each bird. 100 bucks for 4 guineas is very unreasonable. it sounds like a gimic for your money. you can get like 86 other guineas that are younger for that price. If you want to lose money like that, it's your choice still... but I suggest you don't be paying 100 dollars to have 4 guineas.

I like to ones that have white mixed in, Also in another pic pn here were there some black ones? I paided ten bucks each for mine and they are a year old.

The Guineas with white on the chest area and white flight/wing feathers are called Pieds, Pied is available in any color (except white obviously).

There isn't a black variety of Guinea Fowl tho... the closest to black are the Royal Purples and the Violets, and they are actually more of a dark charcoal grey base color, with an iridescent purple sheen. In certain lighting they do look black tho. But it's common for them to sunfade each summer, so they lighten up until they molt in the Fall. The Royal Purples have some pearling in the flank are and barring on the wing feathers, the Violets have no pearling or barring at all.
