Want a good deal? Get your casket at Walmart.

Geeze, even at wal-mart you can't get them for under a thousand bucks.

I'm getting cremated. Or I told hubbie he can throw me in the chicken run, then he won't have to buy feed for a couple weeks.

In my opinion, he is getting you a new brooder for spring, but is disguising it so you will be surprised.

And as far as your life insurance policy...T-e-r-r-i-e L-a-c-y

Mr Saddi has these directions:

Donate whatever i haven't worn out, recycle the rest. cremation puts out alot of CO2, and embalming's juat as bad, composting would be fine, or just dump at sea for scavengers.

It makes sense to me. Walmart's corporate offices are in Arkansas and likewise for one of the largest makers of caskets, Batesville Casket Co. in Batesville, Arkansas.
So, two corporate Arkies got to talking over a golf game and....
As long as they don't start selling dog food at the casket company, I'm okay with that.

Ruth.....you are too funny!!!

Now y'all won't believe this but there's a man in N. ga that used to make armoires out of a casket and also lovely long bench seats....Well, when the beloved left, you lost some furniture also.....I'm not being sacriligious....This was a real crafts person. And beautiful cabinetry style....He sold with a motto like why just enjoy your caskets for a few days.... We belong to a memorial society as we want a simply proceedings.......

If I can google it, I'll post a pic....

Don't know if this is the person or not, but go to casketfurniture.com for pics of casket furniture......

Interesting, but no, please don't tell my husband....I don't want one......not now anyway.....

Simply passing along some interesting news honey, no need to spell a SOS in the yard in scratch. Maybe I should take Ruth out more often, after this post, I will have to make sure she is seen in public occasionally.

Well I just checked walmart's website and they are available in their "for the home" department.

Being as frugal as he is, my DH would like that. Use it for a coffee table now and when my time comes....
Okay, no one tell my DH about the caskets at walmart please. He'd hate to throw away a perfectly good coffee table/casket just to bury me.

Grits knows her DH will probably do what my mom said to do all along. Stick a hambone in me and let the coyotes drag me off.

I heard once that Walmart wanted 5% of 25% of the world market. I hope that makes sense. Imagine having your hands in 25% the world. Oil, construction, Sea, Air, Health Care, Education.

Scary
