I have an internal pip! Little egg was peeping at me. I also was naughty and candled another one just to see and I'm worried it died. The blood vessels have all receded, but that could just be because it's absorbing them. I guess I'll know soon enough

I have heard of people waiting to increase humidity until they have a pip, which would allow the air cell to recede some, but personally I would rather not risk sticky chick.

Tonight begins day 21 for me. I had 14 eggs go into lockdown, when I got home I had 5 pipped, just went in to make sure that I was right on the 14 eggs and now 7 are pipped. Big healthy pips too. I think I am going to be swimming in chicks soon!

Thank you. Did you add moisture at the beginning of lockdown or did you wait until internal pip?

Cracked the rest of the eggs today. All where scrambled! So frustrating.

Maybe seeing other people's chicks will make me feel better .

I think my hatch is done. I have 10 chicks. 2 pipped and didn't make it. I think I needed to have more ventilation. I upped humidity on day 18

I think my hatch is done and I'm just gonna have the two. Oh well, the two hatched are really cute! One splash and one that's either splash or light blue, can't quite tell.
