A Japanese school has succeeded in hatching eggs outside its shell! Thought I'd share with you guys. The video is in japanese but the research papers is in English. Hope this helps for peeps interested in doing this!

You'll need chemicals like calcium lactate and diluted Benzalkonium chloride for this.


Things needed-

-Calcium lactate powder(of sorts)

-Sterilised water

-diluted Benzalkonium chloride (disinfectant! Keeps the whole thing clean!)

-Cup wth a cover

-Cling film

-Cotton

-Tube to channel oxygen with

I hope this helps enthusiasts wishing to hatch eggs in a novel way!

It sounds pretty complex, but I kind of want to try this one day myself with some over the counter pharmacetical supplies :D
 
Thanks :D I've seen some threads wanting to do this but all ended up failing. It's awesome to find examples that work!

Also found out what Benzalkonium chloride does. It's a disinfectant. I wonder if this is replacceable with diluted hand sanitizers?
