Quacking
I didn't mean loose, but more like a dog crate with Max in it while the geese are sitting nearby so that no one can actually physically interact.
I didn't raise them from hatchlings like my ducks, so I don't know about their raising, but my geese are more like chickens than the angry birds I’ve read up on. The most the geese have ever done, including when I got too close/moved too fast/both, is hiss or honk loudly. They don’t even seem to consider hissing at Max, or chasing him back, or doing anything other than flap their wings and run away. Like, “Scary!! Don’t engage!!” They seem terrified of him, and he seems aggressive towards them. I just wondered if a bit of separate but together time out would help.
