Wanted and gifted

When the virus hit both my careers out of work my thought was how can I feed the fam now? So I was deciding on chicken breeds when my friend knew someone who was giving away the pen and a flock or 3 chickens and 3 ducks free to a good home. Now my house of 3 teenagers have a duck and a bird each to hang with while out of school and it's given me a new hobby. But adoption is no small feat...so we have had to figure a lot out. Glad to hear from experience d owners. Thanks!
