What is a watchman? - Excuse if that's a dumb question! - A portable TV? - Was never sold or even announced in Europe.

Yes! It's a tiny portable tv. People used bring them to events and such to watch sports discreetly. The name is a play on the Walkman.

I lost two iPOD shuffle s when i moved. Don't know how. I would love to have the rectangular one again. Sigh.

I’ve caught hundreds of raccoons in DP traps and have never had a raccoon chew off his paws. Trapping raccoons requires you to check the traps early in the morning around sunrise just for this reason.
There are plenty of ways to protect your ducks chickens or whatever you have without trapping especially if they’re in an enclosed coop and run. I actually trap for fur and will not drown a single animal. Blunt force to the head is absolutely more humane than drowning. Lactating raccoons? Don’t trap in spring time then. Otherwise letting a trap wise raccoon go isn’t smart.
Making jokes about drowning raccoons is borderline ridiculous. If you can’t have or get a gun try a dp trap and a metal pipe.
If you’re a grown man you shouldn’t have any problems hitting the raccoon hard enough.
There’s really nothing funny about killing any animal.

Heres one of my mega watchmen

Oh boy! - One of these days!

As @Texag87 has already answered for me: I would love to have a firearm, i am legally allowed to own one, but being "only" a permanent resident the amount of paperwork is too much for gun-stores - i tried three., so a shot on short distance in the head is unfortunately not an option. I would do that if i only could.
Weather drowning or hitting the head is more (in)humane, i cannot decide, but at the moment i only have a cage-trap from which i would have to release the 'coon in order to whack its head and the risk of not hitting it hard enough and then having an injured animal on the run is not an option for me.

The Racoons do only what nature dictates them to do, but we have accepted a responsibility to protect our birds against predators, so we have to do what we must do…

Thank you very much for answering to this, while i was on the phone with my customer for hours. Really appreciate that!

I thought about that too, here are my two problems with that:
  1. There are several videos in the internet where raccoons have bitten or ripped off their own hand in order to escape a hand-trap. Again you have a badly wounded animal on the run.
  2. Before something bad happens to a raccoon i caught, i check if it is a lactating female. I will not kill any mother raccoon and sentence her little ones to death by starvation [period] Should i capture a lactating racoon, she will be released on my property (legal here) after i scared the sh*t out of her, in hope she will tell her babies not to visit that crazy, evil hillbilly…
I do not enjoy killing any animal (Ok, ticks and mosquitoes i do!) but i have to protect my duckies, it is my responsibility and so i do this as quickly as i can with the measures i have available.
A conibear body trap would kill the coon, and better than a spring trap

make the set with a 5 gal bucket, bait in the back of bucket and trap at entrance.

I have done even more horrible, live trapping and relocating. That's probably the worst.

@WannaBeHillBilly i forgot to tell you!

The c64 mini that just came out is a mini c64 with build in games. But it uses all the original lines of basic!

if you boot it into basic it actualy works exactly the same as the original c64 and you can even hack tape drives and 5.25 floppy drives to it

alot of people are buying them and putting them inside original c64 cases. the you have a 1 chip c64
