I have 2 hens, and so far I have gotten 16 eggs that I know about.


Did you find the eggs you were wanting badhbh? I only have 2 hens, but you aren't that far from me. One hen is buff, the other is buff dundotte, and they each have a mate of the opposite color

would have been nice of them to stick with their own color, but oh well! PM me if you are interested.

We had 8 hens in their first year and we still had at least 12 keets hatch already (we still have 7 left... which we are selling) AND we still have three Little Giant incubators full. And a dozen we have no room for.

Disclosure: They have a concrete "bunker" that they roost in and they lay there eggs in large dog boxes full of hay. They graze our farm on sunny dry days but stay indoors on wet or cold days. They share the "bunker" with three rhode island/rock mixes who lay in the same boxes.
