I am looking to buy a few Mottled Houdan hatching eggs early this spring if possible. (March/April)
Will anyone have any available?

Good luck! I had a HECK of a time finding some last year and ended up just ordering from IDEAL. I got ONE rooster (of course) and he was pretty poor-quality. I searched ALL summer for more eggs and never found any. I lost my roo (he was the first to go) when we got below zero.

Ideal Poultry will have Houdan eggs available in another couple of weeks. I would recommend placing your order early, we sold out of them last year.

I figured it would be kind of like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I'd really like to find some nice quality birds/eggs for my
4-H kids.

Honey1, I had the same problem last year- could not find nice quality Houdans anywhere. I have a breeding program but it will be at least 2 years before I can sell birds or eggs. I just love these birds though, and there doesn't seem to be very many people out there working on them.

i HAVE BLACK MOTTLED HOUDANS IN BANTAM SIZE?
Should have some p[ics up on our site soon and they should be laying well in march.
Give me a shout if interested, the bantam sizes are really hard to get.
Also have a pair of standard white houdans
Aubrey

Do you have pictures of your Houdan. I have never seen bantams or white.
