I got my Cochin eggs from Florida Chick this morning. I ordered 12 Cochin eggs, and got 15. They were perfectly wrapped, and the USPS still managed to break one. All the air cells looked intact, and they're now in the 'bator, so fingers crossed for a great hatch!!

Mothergoose

Great packing... when I first opened the box I thought 'whoah, overkill!' but apparently MUCH has to be done to counteract the thrashing these boxes get from the good ol USPS.

I bought a dozen gorgeous welsummer eggs and Christie sent me 6 extra! These eggs are a bee-yooo-ti-ful rich brown.

They were very carefully wrapped, then wrapped again, then cushioned with lots of packing and STILL one was broken, and a few were a little cracked. Now I know why everyone likes to include extras if they have them. yeesh!

Anyway, big thumbs up to Mothergoose. Can't wait for my hatch.

Carole am from Indy; I ordered 12 eggs recieved 14 none were broke they were shipped.Out of the 14 only 5 didn't make it.1 was a dud,the rest developed but didn't pip was very happy with the hatch rate.

I went to get three blue orp pullets from Bamachicken (Julie) in Dothan. It was a very loooong day for me since I had gone to Atlanta, bird fair in the morning and then to the other end of Auburn to get my chicks

, but when I saw her chicks, her house and met with Julie and her wonderful husband I forgot all the fatigue from the driving all day. They both greeted me very warmly and showed me around.
Julie has the CLEANEST coops and runs that I have ever seen. Also I have never seen such HUGE, Healthy and BEAUTIFUL orps( the 3-1/2 mon old orp that I got for a friend already is close to 7 lbs.) and especially her SILKIES. Most of them were setting. Her prices were very reasonable too. I am so happy that I made this trip,

I have named my blue orp, SHADOW....Thankyou Julie...and great job maintaining your little farm

Ive recieved eggs from MotherGoose, marie_martin and priszilla all are great!!!!!!!! Going for seconds from marie_martin and cant wait!
