wanted to show off my wheaten rosecombs

I hatched these guys this Winter. A gal in AZ has been breeding these for many years and does well showing them. She also has blue wheatens but, I wasn't able to hatch any out. She was kind enough to send me some freebees this Spring. They are growing out and I will update later. 2 of the youngsters are splashed wheatens so they will produce 100% BW's when bred to wheaten... Im very pumped. Of Course!! my first hatch was all boys but, they are handsome... here they are..

Post some female Wheaton Rosecombs pictures when you get some grown.They are rather a rare color.Nice to know there are a few people breeding them.

Beautiful boys, Erin. Love that third pic. Can't wait to see these full grown. By that time, you'll be well on your way to a rainbow of Rosecombs, I imagine.

They're definitely a breed I wouldn't mine having one of every color in.

Here they are all grown up

I wound up with 2 Wheaten roos, 2 wheaten hens, 1 splash wheaten hen and 1 blue wheaten hen.. these last two girls are younger so, I'll get pics of them later. I can't wait to see the blues mature. These wheatens are so gorgeous, I cannot stop taking pics of them.

They are beautiful I am glad you were able to build up a flock of the little guys I remember you were having problems hatching them. Those roosters are stunning! I am very partial to the wheaten and blue wheaten also blue salmon and salmon colors. I just got BBS bantam favs to though

They blue wheaten must be beautiful post pictures when they are grown. Hope you are doing well!

Thanks y'all. I may have eggs next year.. keep in touch. I plan to cross these with my blacks to help the blacks with their tails while helping the heads on the wheatens. I also have a chocolate serama laying now that will be the basis of my chocolate rosecomb project.... exciting times
