They are still where they were posted. It's getting close to the end of this party which was interrupted by the birthday girl. The interruption slowed down the W pics.Where did the pictures with the W words go?

I sure hope y'all have older kiddos. We rescued one and learned afterwards the breed isn't fond of young kids.Trying to come up with a name for this little girl. She's a Havanese. Hubby keeps vetoing my name choices.

Really? That’s odd as they are supposed to be excellent with children.I sure hope y'all have older kiddos. We rescued one and learned afterwards the breed isn't fond of young kids.
I have found with rescues, the breed labels are more of a guess at best and aren't necessarily really reliable or accurate most of the time because of that and because a lot of staff don’t really know breeds either. Sometimes they’re pretty close and other times wildly inaccurate; I have seen both haha so perhaps yours was a different breed? Or a mix? Most rescues are mixes and that would complicate things. I know llasa apso look somewhat similar and they can have more of an aggressive personality. Havanese are supposed to be little sweethearts and great with kids but of course there are definitely individuals in every breed. I would bet yours is either a fluke or a llasa instead. This was some 14-15 years ago and some info from a no-kill shelter told my Better-half about the breed as she was getting a shih-tsu to add to the household.... We ended up having to re-home him not long after that.....Really? That’s odd as they are supposed to be excellent with children.![]()

Ah okay that’s unfortunate. This was some 14-15 years ago and some info from a no-kill shelter told my Better-half about the breed as she was getting a shih-tsu to add to the household.... We ended up having to re-home him not long after that.....
I’m sorry.
I think their information was wrong though or else he was a different breed or mixed with something because they’re usually good with them hah could have been his prior experiences too I suppose
Tomorrow is todayThe only reason I said tomorrow is because I am not home and can’t cook today.
