Now that they are in the US....within a year or two you should be able to find them for sale on eBay or here on BYC. I'd say that within three years they will be cheap enough and the market will be saturated enough that you'll have no trouble finding them for cheap.

Right now, there is an auction running for a pair for $5,000.00

In England they were going for crazy prices last summer now you can get them really cheap I have a baby bantam one and 6 each of lf and bantam in the incubator at the moment. Jubilee orpingtons seem to be the new big thing along with chocolate pekins ( I think you caal them bantam Cochins ) and chocolate leghorns they fetch over £100 for 6 eggs and its only the beginning of the season.
Its definitely worth waiting for them though as they are gorgeous

Do you know how the chocalate leghorn was developed????? I've been wanting to change mine up a little..... And does it lay white eggs or chocolate eggs?????

I don't know how the Chocolate leghorn was created might be worth looking into though could be a goldmine
