Are you looking for pure Ameraucanas (there is no I) that should lay only blue eggs? Those would come from a breeder and not a hatchery. They tend to be more expensive as breeders have devoted a lot of time and money perfecting their lines.

Hatcheries sell "Americaunas" which are actually Easter Eggers (EE) that should have at least one copy of the blue laying gene and who knows what else. They are great chickens if you want a lot of variety in your egg basket (teal, mint, greenish, blueish, olive, etc) but can also lay brown/tan eggs due to their very mixed up genetic identity.
