Well, I have two jersey giant roosters who are just now crowing, and one of them was trying to mount a male duck, the only duck in a separate flock of chickens.Such a statement depends on the number/ratio of roosters being kept in with the ducks, the personality of them, and the amount of space in which the birds are being kept in. For nearly six years I've kept 10+ Roosters with over 40+ ducks with no problems. Do understand, I have plenty of hens for the amount roosters I have, and my birds free-range.
These chickens (and the duck) currently free range, and there are around twenty hens overall.Such a statement depends on the number/ratio of roosters being kept in with the ducks, the personality of them, and the amount of space in which the birds are being kept in.
