Same sh*t is happening here. Now the farmers are wanting to bulldoze more trees down for more cattle at the cost of killing more koalas.

Alright enough venting from me for the day.. need to cool off a bit cos this just gets me SO MAD!! On my way to see me chooks now!

Well I hear that some people have them as pets and they can be friendly. Personally I wouldn't have one. I feel horrible having to kill predators, we've thought of laying traps and relocating the predators we can (possums, dogs, mostly) we're at the moment dealing with a hawk problem (they've taken 4 chicks so far); having to go out every once in a while.
We most probably will stop our chickens from free-ranging .
