I'm so sorry about your lost chickens . Someone local to me just posted that they have seen mink, so I'm worried about my girls.

Keep an eye out...... and I would suggest locking them in for the night if you dont already

Fall/ Autumn seems to be the time of year they will aim up chickens in cages as a food source.... in spring there are lots of little baby things to catch and feed on.... bunnies/birds etc

they are still in my house right now, but I'll be moving them outside in April. Will always be locked in at night since we have fox and coyote

yeah the idea of people keeping them as pets or feeding wild ones makes me mad
