very lucky, we got tons here. in fact on our land up north (near the boreal forest) i would not even consider raising chickens there.As I said we dont have a lot of Predators here..... no raccoons, minks, coyotes, skunks, bobcats, bears, or snakes

yeah the idea of people keeping them as pets or feeding wild ones makes me madI'm so sorry about your losses. Your birds were beautiful, especially Mohawk -- he's so regal.
