We have some new little ones and I do have them inside the house but also have a warming light on their brooder. I want to make sure I'm doing this right...What should the temp be? I have the light in a corner so they can get out of it if they get too warm. And one other thing, I guess I leave this light on all night and really all the time, right?

The temperature isnt quite definate.. As long as they are moving about then they are fine. They should not be far away from each other at each corner of the brooder.. They also should not be piled on toop of each other under the heat bulb.. How old are your chicks?

Ok, I think we are good so far. They are moving around and eating and flapping their wings.

The 2 Ameracaunas were hatched on 2/9, the Polish probably around the same time, and the wyandotte I think is just a few days old.
