I agree, I also read somewhere if you are going to eat something that maybe is bad take the vinegar first, but after helps too. Never tried it but would if I thought it would help. Good luck, hope you feel better soon.

What I found with any illness is to drink LOTS of ice cold water. Want to flush everything out. Keep that water by you 24/7 and drink all you can

It REALLY does work.

umm...i thought it was a week a most. Although I did have a nephew eat some enchiladas that I forgot about in the icebox for about a month or more. He didn't die, or get sick. Hope you'r feeling better soon.

I'm a Personal Chef, That means I go to people's houses-cook a week's worth of dinners, and store them in fridge and freezer, sort of like home made TV dinners (without all the crazy chemicals)
A N Y W A Y....
Some of the specific instructions I leave for my clients is "Throw it away after this date: (one week)
But it all depends on what the food is. Some of the food I leave only partially cooked so it will finish off when they heat it. Those have a "throw away date" of only a few days.

I recommend putting a masking tape label with a "throwaway date" on every container of leftovers you have.

Don't keep anything for more than a week even if it "smells good".
Once every month or two take EVERYTHING out of the fridge and freezer and clean it. Then go through and toss the furry jello that you forgot about way back in the back.
Mold makes spores, spores make more mold, only faster.

I was always told leftovers were ok for a week. We make sure reheat them well. So if its made Saturday, I usually throw it out by the following Saturday. Nothing usually lasts here that long though. My 8 yr old loves leftovers for breakfast lol.

Hope you get to feeling better soon!!
