Warning!!!

Yes, this is a fraud. Maybe we should check out the e-mails before we forward them on as facts. Anybody reading this could mistakenly think that jhm47 actually had this happen to their neighbor, when it is really just a bogus junk e-mail that has been circulating the net for years.

Well all I know is my friend's Schnauzer was the picture of health before they started using fabreeze and a month later he is dead. The only thing different was they sprayed his bedding with Fabreeze.

You tell me! I am not going to chance it No way no how. regardless of snopes or not.

Fabreze and swiffer aren't the same thing. Fabreeze is dangerous to animals that suffer from seizures. In some animals it can cause seizures even when they never had them before. It is on the list of things that my dog's neurologist has said shouldn't be in my house. Also, any cleaner with a name that ends with "sol" is a no-no for a household with a seizure baby. I can't imagine that those things would be good for humans either. I would guess that your friend's schnauzer had an underlying neurological problem, or had a brain damaging seizure caused by the fabreeze. Everytime I see those commercials with the idiot people shoving their noses into something sprayed with fabreeze and loving it, I think of all the poor animals and children subjected to this.

ETA: If I had to guess, I would assume that if swiffer is heavily scented (I don't know because I don't use it) it might not be good for animals with seizure problems.

we dont use fabreeze, but I have a large can of Lysol always handy.

There are also other contributing factors to dogs/cats getting tumors and dying of liver failure etc. it is not all environmental. Some of it is genetic. And some times it just happens.

My neighbors lost a GR to liver cancer(hereditary). My mom is loosing her Amstaff Sam to multiple tumors on his liver after a LONG life.

Sorry! I hang my head in shame. My wife is right---I am a hopeless, worthless idiot. Glad this 2008 year is about over. Maybe 2009 will be somewhat better. HNY everyone!

Snopes.com is a website that goes through all of the urban legends and finds out if there is any truth to any of them.
Glowing mountain dew? fake. lol
It's really useful if you come across something that your not sure if its true or not. Like those gang initiations, where if you see someone driving with their lights off, and you flash them, they will follow you and shoot you. Its not true, per say, there are some idiots that might tho.
