I check my chicks water every hour. Same with there food.

My family even did this. My mom came home with chicks in the middle of the night. Had to pull out the old water troff. (can't spell it. Where are you autocorrect?!)
My parents got sick of them in the house and threw them into the "coop" before the snow fully left and before they fully molted. Within the first month, half of them died from ravens dragging them away.
