Mintpaw decided to do something about the lack of catmint. She scanned the area for Nightpaw, and found the blind apprentice close by Cinderpelt. "Nightpaw! I need some catmint! Tell me where to find it and what it looks like!"

Sootfur bounded over to Mintpaw. "I'll come with you!"

 

[Rezia]

(Yes, please!)

"How do I know what it looks like!" spat Nightpaw. "I'm blind!" Her expression softened as soon as she said that. "I'm sorry, I'm just so stressed about this cough!" she said, not unkindly.

Sootfur turned and dashed to Cinderfur.

 

[Rezia]

Nightpaw sighed. "I'm sorry!" she called to the retreating tail of Sootfur. She turned to Mintpaw. "I will show you what it looks like later. You'll see how when you're asleep."

Sootfur stopped and turned. She smiled at the pretty she-cat and said. "Don't worry, it wasn't you. I need to check on my sister."

 

[Rezia]

"Oh, good," she said. "I thought you were mad at me! Do you still want to go with Mintpaw?" she asked, all in one breath.

"Of course not! I would never be mad at you. Yes, I probably should."

 

[Rezia]

"We probably need an experienced warrior with, just in case," she said, nodding.

"How about Brakenfur!" Sootfur excitedly. She stopped herself, and her fur prickled with embarrassment.
