~Warriors RP II~

Quote: Silverstripe's fur bristled as she took a different path. "You weren't there at the last Gathering," she explained, "but the other Clans are starting to believe leaf-bare is weakening us. We need to show them that they're wrong."

"Hey Owlpaw," Smokepaw sneered as she padded over to her.

Owlpaw's neck fur rose. "What do you want, Smokepaw?"

"We're doing our assessments today," Smokepaw gloated. "What are you doing?"

Owlpaw grit her teeth. "Shove a mouse in it, Smokepaw."

"Gladly," Smokepaw snickered, heading over to the hunting rocks.

Owlpaw resisted the urge to claw that smirk right off Smokepaw's face. She'd had just about enough of this. I haven't been to Twolegplace in moons and moons and moons. At this rate I'm never going to get my warrior name. She glanced over the border. Maybe I should just leave.

"Yep," she smiled. "I'm gonnga be heading off. I just... I wanted to say thank you, for your help. Before I left, you know."
"Sure! Thanks for your help!" Patch replied, licking a paw. "Um... so... uh, maybe do you think.." he stuttered not finishing his sentence.

"Yeah?" She curled her tail above her back.
"Do you think maybe I could... uh... join your clan?" He asked hopefully.
Specklefur was considerably surprised; her face said so. "Maybe," she said, "It's up to Sagestar, but she'll probably at least give you a chance. Leaf-bare's always tough around this time." She looked up at the sky, which was as gray as a squirrel's pelt. The cold wind promised a snowstorm in the not-too-distant future. "That might be a good thing, or a bad thing. But anyways, if you come with me they'll probably accept you easier."
Patch looked embarrassed. "It's okay. If you think it would be difficult, I'd rather stay here." he said. "Better than getting my pelt torn off." he muttered.

Sagestar leaped down from her den. She had decided to take Owlpaw out on some exercises. "Owlpaw!" she meowed, padding up to her. Her brindle striped tail waved placidly with her pawsteps.

"No, it shouldn't be. Sagestar is kind."
