Stripestar screeched as Sagestar tore open 3 long scratches across the ShadowClan leader's chest. Trying to hook a front paw around Sagestar's foreleg, she twisted with unsheathed claws, in hopes of knocking her away.

Sagestar grunted as her front legs were swiped from beneath her. She fell hard on her chin, then scrambled up, and flung herself at Stripestar.

As Sagestar slammed into her chest, Stripestar flew back-first onto the ground and pummeled Sagestar's underbelly with her hind legs.

Sagestar yowled angrily as a long red gash was ripped down her underside. She lunged at Stripestar's throat, spitting; "You flea-brained excuse for a leader!" She opened her jaws aiming for the cat's throat.

Quick as a snake, Stripestar turned on a dime and leaped in the air, just barely missing Sagestar's attack on her throat but getting a large, nasty gash torn open on her shoulder as she landed behind the WindClan leader. "Me? You let your warriors break the warrior code by not only hunting another Clan's prey, but by letting them eat without feeding the Clan first!" She spat, charging to headbutt her in an attempt to knock her paws out from under her.

Shadowtail rushed out of the nursery, Maplekit and Bluekit at her heels. "Tawnykit! Get back in here!" She yowled.

Silverpaw appeared through the gorse tunnel, trotting to the fresh-kill pile proudly as she carried a plump mouse.
