"Without a doubt," Maplestar mewed.

"Cloverwhisker told me your scent in the nest was stale," Dapplestar pointed out. "It better not."
Shadowpelt rushed forward, licked her nose, then darted toward the den exit. "Thank you Maplestar, thank you!" He bounded away, eager to start hunting for his clan.

Silverstream dipped her head. "I won't." She said firmly, agreeing.

Silverpaw was at the WindClan border, her fur bristling angrily.

"Very well." Dapplestar mewed, heading back into her den.

Owlpaw hurried along the border, glancing around anxiously as she weaved from inside the ShadowClan boundaries and then the WindClan boundaries. The rabbit she had killed and eaten seemed ages ago; even though it was now sunhigh.

Perfect! she thought as she saw a pheasant pecking at the ground. It was a ways inside ShadowClan's territory, but Owlpaw shrugged. Who cares? It's just a bit farther than what I usually go for. She dropped into a hunting crouch, leaping and biting the pheasant's neck. It let out an alarm call, before it went limp. She looked around anxiously to see if any ShadowClan cats had heard and came to investigate, before she relaxed. Grinning like a cheshire cat, she began to eat the pheasant hungrily.

Shadowpelt traced her scent until he found her. "Silverpaw?" He asked, looking around. His own fur bristled, searching for danger or an attacker. "What's going on?"

Silverstream nodded, then sprinted to the nursery. Once inside, her kits greeted her with hungry cries. "MOM! You're baack!" Shadowkit squeaked, bounding over. Ashkit's eyes popped open when he smelled his mother's scent. "My eyes are open momma!" He shrieked, wobbling towards her. Rainkit purred happily. "I'm hungry mommy!"
Silverstream laid down on her side, allowing the kits to nurse. She looked at Cloudbreeze, her cheeks red with embarrassment.

Quote: Troutfur followed, wondering if this cat wanted to speak to him. He made sure his scent carried towards her, but also made sure he stayed out of sight.

"WindClan's been stealing again!" She hissed, pointing with her tail to rabbit bones. They were fresh. "They were just here, too! I missed 'em!"

Cloudbreeze smiled. Hailkit let out a roar and look a lunge at Shadowkit.

Specklefur's ears twitched. She turned and looked, before padding towards him.

"What?!" Shadowpelt lashed his tail furiously. He sniffed the bones. The scent of a young cat, an apprentice, reached his nose. "Silverpaw. Scent the bones deeply. Tell me what you smell."

Silverstream smiled back. Shadowkit hissed, swiping at Hailkit with a small paw.

Troutfur straightened, puffing out his chest. He looked proud, watching the pretty she-cat come towards him. Dipping his head, he waited for her to speak.
