If the ThunderClan cats did notice the BloodClan scent, they said nothing about it. Thrushpelt nodded, "welcome to ThunderClan." He led them through the gorse tunnel, and into the camp. Suspicious and curious eyes watched them as they padded to the Highrock. "Sorrelstar?"

(A ThunderClan patrol discovered a rogue who wants to join, Pepper. Not much else has been going on.)

Pepper followed in the middle of the patrol, his blue eyes sweeping back and forth several times as they crossed the clearing to the Highrock. The number of cats here at the same time was unlike BloodClan, and it made him a small bit uncomfortable. Outside in the tree he had felt under control, even with the ThunderClan patrol surrounding him. Here he felt constricted under the suspicious gaze of so many cats. "So this is ThunderClan..." He murmured, half to himself.

Sorrelstar padded out of her den a few minutes after Thrushpelt went in, her eyes narrowed. "Who is this?"

"He calls himself 'Pepper'," Shadetail explained.

Sorrelstar looked back to Pepper. "Come inside." She mewed, beckoning with her tail for him to follow as she went back into her den.

Sorrelstar padded out of her den a few minutes after Thrushpelt went in, her eyes narrowed. "Who is this?"

Sorrelstar looked back to Pepper. "Come inside." She mewed, beckoning with her tail for him to follow as she went back into her den.

Pepper waited for a moment outside before following Sorrelstar into her den. Once inside, he settled himself down opposite her and stared intently at her. "Sorrelstar." He greeted her with a slight nod and added thoughtfully, "I've always liked how the 'star' sounds on the end of a leaders name. Yours is particularly tasteful."

Sorrelstar looked him over, as if sizing him up. "Thank you," she responded curtly. "Where do you come from? And what makes you wish to join ThunderClan? The soft life of a kittypet not for you?"

"No," Specklefur mewed, "thank you though, Thistleclaw," she mewed gratefully.

Smokepaw's ears fell back, and she mumbled something under her breath. Owlpaw gave Smokepaw a deadly glare.

Later....

After the patrol, Pebbleclaw came racing into the camp. "Rogues are attacking!!"

Thistleclaw nodded, pulling his head out of the nursery. He walked stiffly out of camp, and headed to the plains to hunt.

Sagestar glared at them for a few more seconds, before turning and heading to the fresh-kill pile. There was few prey, so she yowled to bring together a hunting party.

Shadowpelt sprang to his paws, bristling like made. Instantly he looked around for Maplestar, ready for instructions.

"ShadowClan, attack!" Yowled Maplestar as she charged out of her den.

Silverstripe looked around frantically. She spotted Pebbleclaw lunging for a rogue... but something was wrong. Then it clicked: his claws are sheathed!

Shadowpelt instantly flung himself at a rogue, slashing frantically at it. The cat yowled in anger, leaping at Shadowpelt. The two cats clashed, fighting furiously.
