we got about 10 new chickens, that we added to our 28 bird flock, about 3 weeks ago. All of a sudden 6-7 of them have these bumps on their combs. Any idea what they are or how to treat it. Thx in advance!!!

It's fowl pox, a virus mainly caused by mosquitos. It will slowly pass through your flock and go away on its own in a month or so. You can put iodine or black shoe polish on the warts and/or scabs to help dry them up quicker. Do NOT get iodine or black shoe polish in the eyes or nostrils. Eggs are safe to eat.
