Warts? Help, what are they? pics

Two of my chickens have something on their combs. They look like warts but?
Any help would be appreciated.

This is my brown leghorn. This was not there yesterday. The spots are white and all over, her comb is also less red than usual. More pink.

This is my plymouth rock. These I noticed a few days ago but thought they were just pecking on each other a bit. They look worse now. But black, not white.

Looks like the start of dry fowl pox. Here's a link you can read about it. Eggs are safe to eat.
