...it was my lucky day---played hookey from church and went tag saleing, with the wife , at one sale 2 towns over , i said i thought i heard chickens...the lady said she has some and wanted to reduce her flock for the winter ,said she had buff orpington's ,layers and pullets ...

...she hatched in the brooder 12 or 13 weeks ago...i finally got my 2 buff pullets ,

...

....named them buffy and buttercup--

---they now are in with della and dottie my delawares ,so far --only a very mild lesson on who's coop boss..
