I'm liking the Duke Dog Proof Raccoon Traps better.....The best trap for a racoon would probably be a foothold.

He will be dispatched quickly. I would never want to make him some else's problemNot seeing it on here, but perhaps I missed it. Make sure when trapping that you have a dispatch/disposal plan. Released raccoons become trap-savvy and somebody else's problem.
Thanks, but it's a concrete floor. We already have wire over all the windows, but the coon came in the door and climbed over 6ft high to get to them on the roost bars.I would reccomend putting hardware cloth up around the bottom of your coop. It helps with keeping them from sticking their hands in through the chicken wire and decapitating the birds. I am very sorry about your losses!![]()
