Was there Christmas for your chickens?

Mine got a couple small cans of cat food (those little 3oz. ones) (one on each end of the run so everyone gets some without a squabble) and a copious amount of vegetable peelings from Christmas dinner prep.

In the one good turn deserves another department, we had Breakfast Pizza with the eggs I've been reserving from the single chicken who has laid through the Winter. It was yummy and I hope they enjoyed their special feast as well as we enjoyed ours.

Hope things at your house were abundant, yummy and festive in keeping with the season. Onward to a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Indeed.....mini flock blocks in decorative baking pans (removed for dining).....they had 4 this morning, the rest will be parceled out at later dates

Mine got left overs from our Christmas Crab dinner. They were all about that. Now we are watching for Ophelia the Opossum to finish up overnight.

Mine got a ton on apples and several scoops of scratch doled out throughout the day, and each coop got a xylophone!

Mine got a can of wet cat food with BOSS sprinkled on it. They ate every bit so I'm guessing it was a hit

Mine got two scoops of worms/beetles from my mealworm garden - they were so happy!!
