Washington D.C. Metro Area - anyone familiar?

Looks like we're moving to the Washington D.C. area and we want to take our ladies with - anyone know good outlying areas that allow chickens? Woodbridge, Stafford, etc - anyplace commutable in Northern VA or Maryland? Thanks!

Hey! I live in Manassas near Woodbridge and I would say its pretty chicken friendly, it just depends on how much land you have and what the county says. The only issue is how different each county is here. I've had chickens on my 2 acres for over 10 years and it never been a problem.

A lot of the places in central MD are pretty chicken friendly. The key is to get chicken friendly neighbors
