I am new to BYC, and new to chickens in general although I am a bird person and have had many feathered friends such as our current yellow sided green cheek Conure. Our first order of chickens were from Mypetchicken. They hatched this Monday the 15th and got here this morning at 10am.

We were going to get 3 chickens and found a home for the other 3. I had planned on 1 Barred Rock, 1 Australorp, and 1 Light Brahma.

Sadly both of the Light Brahma's did not make it. After that experience we do not want to have chicks shipped again, but I would really like to have a Light Brahma for our collection and my husband has agreed to adding a 4th if we can find a Light Brahma close by.

I was hoping someone else from Washington may have a Light Brahma chick they would be willing to sell to us.

We are living in DuPont, WA near JBLM between Lakewood and Lacey, but will travel depending on how far.

If anyone else is by chance wondering the same thing. I found Light Brahma chicks at the Monroe Co-op feed store. They have many varieties of chicks and poultry etc.
