Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Hey guys, someone posted a flyer with chicks for sale over on your side. I think it was the feed store in Monroe. Can you provide that link again? I looked back a ways and can't find it.

Oh. My. Gosh! That sounds too adorable!!! You need to get that on video!!

(sorry about the fat signature, lemme see if I can narrow it down)
I've tried 3 times to get that on video- but trying to hold the flashlight and iphone while tapping and then hitting record button.....I'm not that darned coordinated. maybe DH can help?

Yoda's Tour continued....

The lure of yummy pastry led Yoda to seek out Buddy, the Cake Boss!
It will certainly take Jedi powers for him to master THAT rolling pin....

Thus ends Yoda's trip to the Big Apple. Until next time, bon voyage!

NYC is an awesome city to visit! I think it's fantastic that Yoda got to see all those world famous attractions and have his photo taken with them! However, I have to admit, I was extra impressed that he had the opportunity to go to the new Carlo's Bakery location in NYC. I'm so jealous! So tell me - were any pastries purchased? Was there a long waiting line? What was bought and how was it? I'm a big fan of the show.

If you want to know what they have you can find them on FB. Monroe Farm and Feed. They usually list all of their incoming chicks each week. :)

Quote: X2! I have Mung beans and Alfalfa. What others did you get and where?
Sprouting Seed Super Sampler- Organic- 2.5 Lbs of 10 Different Delicious Sprout Seeds: Alfalfa, Mung Bean, Broccoli, Green Lentil, Clover, Buckwheat, Radish, Bean Salad & More

I purchased my stacking growing trays and seeds from Amazon. I figure these seeds should last me a good long time. Here is the link to the seeds and to the stacking growing trays. I like the growing trays. They take up little room in my kitchen and couldn't be any more convenient to use. I purchased two sets of the trays. The first time I sprouted in both sets, but from now on think I will stagger the growing so I have fresh just about every couple of days. I'm finding it only takes 3 -4 days for good sprouts.
I just used some fresh alfalfa sprouts on my lunch salad. They were very sweet!

Got the roof done on the pallet coop. Off to meet up with Jeanine(Cloverleaf) and drop something off to her. Eat(haven't done that yet today). Hit Wilco for feed and supplies. Come home and work on the inside of the coop. Plan is to have it done(not painted until warm dry weather) tomorrow and move all LF into tomorrow night.

Way to go!
