Has anyone owned a great pyranese? They're suppose to be great livestock guardians ( with consistent training of course) your thoughts the breed?

Jack is a rescue dog from Moses Lake.
I went after his litter as he was advertised as a Per.X Aussie.
The loner we have had him, the more I KNOW he has Malamute in him, hence the "Talking" he does.....no dogs "talk" like a malamute !!!!!!!!!!!!
Jack is an ***........he is a man's dog and seldom minds either of us............dispite being CUT and trained daily by us both...............wild is the way to describe Jack.
Under supervison, he tolerates the flocks, but when no one's looking~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!
My next dog will not be a rescue, my next dog and probably the one after that, will be Nufies

I have heard many complain of Pyranees not tolerating poultry.

My son would have gone crazy for that cake! He's a big Dale E fan- we've got Dale E collectibles all saved away.
(He knew the names of all of the nascar drivers before he was 4 years old .)

I should have probably listed them as BPR -- Barred Plymouth Rocks -- as opposed to White or Pencil Laced Plymouth Rocks.

This is step one of my plan to create Hambars (dual purpose, true-breeding, sex-link birds).

Next step -- take the best rooster that I get from the NH/BPR crossing and put him over New Hampshire hens -- which leads me to this question:

Anyone know of someone who has good New Hampshires?

And
If you are doing nothing more than in breeding to "Create" a species...why not just order from a hatchery ????????????????????
Such as McMurray ??????????????

Chickie Lady- just FYI- our aussie x lab "talked" in fact every morning he would come in our bedroom to "talk" to us and I swear it sounded like he was saying "gud morning". I think somewhere we even saved a recording of it. Our aussie x lab was hyper, OCD, chased anything that moved, including leaves, snowflakes, hail, ashes from campfires, fireworks, and more. He was adorable and lovable, but so hyper and OCD he was making us crazy.
