Come on stop trying to resist is is not a worthy battle. Just give in and come to the show. YOU want to you know you want to we all know you want to trying to deny it is useless ! !
SEE YA AT MONROE! ! !
I dont deny wanting to come... Its not wanting to take 4 kids with me lol... My 9 year old wants to go to see the different kinds of chickens. I just ordered her a incubator so she can hatch eggs for school, BUT my 6 and 3 year old.... thats another story all together. LOL Most likely they will be trying to run in either direction being crazy... LOL

About this thread: I LOVE it here. I've never felt anything but love and support here. And a whole lot of enabling. I very much enjoy the different personalities here, and the fact that there's a lot to read. I hate slow threads. I'm like...c'mon, somebody just POST SOMETHING! when it's slow. NOT HERE! I'm going to be sorely put out and upset (I won't actually tell y'all when it happens but I know I'll cry about not living here and communing with my WA peeps anymore) if we move to MD. Their thread is slow.

No one said you have to leave our thread.

You moving to MD will give us new perspective on our flocks. Besides, we need to see someone dealing with a real winter.

One of the chicks flew out of the Rubbermaid tub this morning so I moved them up to the Chick Corral. I made them a perch from a stick and after an hour or so they started to check it out. The one of the far end is actually sleeping draped over it, with her beak resting on the floor. I moved it a little closer to the heat lamp and they all got on except 2nd from right who is resting her head on it.

That *might* truly be the cutest thing I've ever seen! My broody raised babies were out in a low tree yesterday too. I love when the babies discover roosting!

I probably will... I am actually trying to see if Hallerlake is gonna go so I can meet up and get some eggs for my daughter to hatch. Her bator should be here by then.

FM. Even if your land isn't zoned flood zone go talk to the neighbors.
Find out where and if your property floods from river.
Then ask if they have seen standing water from heavy rain.
Besides knowing this info you can determine your use of land before buying.

In the valley ..............................

Think HUGE blueberries!!!

They grow great here.

Duvall & Carnation has Farmers markets if you thinking of selling.

Also from Duvall going to Monroe excellent places to sell goods on side of road.
Huge area's that are safe for people to come off and back on highway.
