The Net Shed in Seattle
http://thenetshed.net/

My friend has netting from here - sold by the pound
Call and tell the nice lady measurement and net hole size you need
... shipping is expensive- but you can pick up
netting is heavy and big... definitely need room to transport.
I am planning on using for top of an aviary. Just remember that ice storms can totally demolish netting.

Thank you!

Yes I can say that because I an Oregonian at heart. I also hang outin the Or thread. But only in attempt to keep it alive !!!!

I know you hang there. You helped me with the quote in quote thing. It is way hard to keep up on this thread. I need the slower pace of the Oregon one. Especially when I have to type something. I am chicken at heart when typing, hunt and peck.

Whew! Caught up AGAIN! Chatty Cathy's here!!

We've been so busy, but in a good way. School is just going fantastic, I can't even begin to explain how much we're enjoying our 1st grade year now that we've got it all figured out with the extra supplements we purchased. Thanks to Renee for challenging me to think about the standards of education. Before we added supplements we were average, but now we're way beyond what most first graders are doing and he's still excelling at our challenging work!

Tomorrow Isaac is going back to shift work!! I don't know if I even told y'all that he was very injured in an accident at a fire last fall. It's been a year of hell with his back out of commission and just last month it was looking like he would lose his job if something miraculous didn't happen. Well, after much praying, his recovery from physical therapy suddenly jumped from only a 40% gain in over 7 months of physical therapy, to 80% recovered in less than a month! He's already gone back through training through the department and is OK'd to resume shift work. He works 48hr shifts and is off for 4 days. Repeat. We're thrilled to have our lives back! We're big fans of the firefighter schedule instead of the typical M-F work week here.

SO, because he's going back to work we decided it would be good for Mama to get out of the house for a couple hours sans kids, each night before he goes to work. I left around 5, got coffee, went to the library to get our school books for next week and return this weeks' books, got scratch at Reber Ranch, got dinner out (since I can't do that with the kids!) by myself, and shopped for clothes and groceries at Fred Meyer. I returned home to an organized, clean home with jammied kids in bed with Isaac reading stories before bedtime. What a wonderful evening! I feel so refreshed and ready for a weekend alone with the kids. I now need to get off the computer because since Isaac won't be at church with me that leaves me to teach Children's Church alone; I need to prepare! Goodnight all! Enjoy your weekends!

Whether the weather's good or bad, my girls always give me the stink eye with extra long "Braaaaaaaaaa-AWWWWWW-awwwwwwwwwwk!"s when I come outside to let them out...they want me to know they mean business!

The smell disappates, doen't it? I've been in gardens where it was used, and I don't remember any disagreeable odor.

I sure hope it dissipates. That's pretty cheap for a yard, but I still don't think I could go there. There's a gross factor there that I don't know that I'd be able to get over.

I'm right there w/ya Itsren!

I think my poor DH can trump you both....our cat dropped a dead vole in his muck boot. Hahahahahaha!!! Unfortunately, he discovered this by putting his foot in his boot and to his surprise, there was something squishy!

Fun times! Possum (dead or alive) is something I don't ever want to deal with again, they're so nasty! Even worse if it's soggy...Ick. And l'm eternally grateful I don't find presents in my shoes, although there have been times the cats and ferrets work together to put their "gifts" in other inconvenient locations. The cats provide the bodies and if the ferrets find them before I do, they stash them under the bed or couch so I have the pleasure of tracking down semi-mummified rodents and birds by smell. I am now trained to make sure there are no gifts in the house before the ferrets get their free time

So, am I crazy in thinking I have a little roo on my hands when they're only 5 days old? Cocoa sure does a mighty fine job defending his little flock when the hand that feeds and cleans them comes in. That chick jumps at me and pecks me any time I reach in there. It's pretty funny right now. Doesn't help that the kids are cheering "Go Cocoa! Bite mom!"
