Well, count down to chicks, I hope!!!! I'm guessing, my black hen has about a week to go before I see little ones and Angel, my red hen (will be her first batch ever) has probably 2 weeks, maybe. I have everything written down but somehow managed to misplace my entire notebook....lol Ill try and get pictures of both my girls hunkered down on their nests tomorrow when I go clean the run and let everyone else run around outside, I'm hoping to sell all these chicks to a local feed store so she can have her first chick sale

Half way done with our coop today, great progress.

Hi There... welcome aboard!

It was a great day to get some work done outdoors, too. Glad to hear you're making progress on your coop. I hope you'll post some pictures, too. I'm near Silverdale, so hello neighbor! Laughing Feather is in Kitsap, too. Our numbers are definitely increasing.

I got probiotics and electrolites in their water to make sure there isn't a stress issue from being moved. The hubby told me that Niqui is on their perch and keeping Fluffy on the floor showing who has higher pecking order.
My Pudge (avatar) likes to do that. When I pick someone up to hug and pet them, she flies up to my shoulder and stares at them. She will mutter at them if they're close to her in the pecking order. She's one of the highest-ranking young birds. She's my favorite green-eyed monster.

What a lazy day. Rested, then rested some more.

It was absolutely criminal the way I lazed about. LOL

Finished the day of dishwashing/laundry with a dinner consisting of breaded porkchops, stringbeans and my Dad's recipe for "lyonnaised" potatoes. So good!

6 eggs from 8 hens. (I think one is not laying, but don't know which one)
