Cute little one! Nice to see you Kate! UM where's your neck brace? Did you get a reprieve?
I need to get out and work on mine too! I had a winter project to do on it that well..... Good thing winter isn't over til June here!!!!!!!!!!!Yes! I'm just over the peninsular from you and it's gorgeous here too. I'm thinking of trying to get the tarp off the boat and cleaning it up ready to take out.
Quote: Had to take the neck brace off to wash the little girl (mommy didn't do a very good job). Can't see the scar (too much) which is good.
Yeah, not sure if we are going to keep the boat - so much money and only a few short months to use it. When we were in CA, we had friends with a boat; they could use it all year. I guess we forgot that bit when we moved up here!
Are you on FB too?
What happened to the Barnevelder? I must have lost track. Those Swedish Flower hens sure are pretty. But on the flip side I'll be losing our favorite girl, the BSL. She's been such a doll and such a reliable layer until about 6-7 weeks ago. I'm sad about that.
Kate... love the picture of your little kid! I've lost track, did momma #2 do ok with hers?
I know what you mean. Even though I don't work, it's not much fun doing much by myself, so have to wait for weekend to spend with himself. We did have a great mini vacation last weekend though (plus Friday, Monday and Tuesday). Naturally he came home to a panic message from work and chaos to straighten out!Great day in the NW, makes one hate their jobs sometimes! LOL

Candling day on eggs and got my first two dozen Langshan eggs shipped to me and waiting to go in. Never tried shipping eggs before so I'm excited to see how it goes!
Mine sits more in the garage then in the water but I guess that's what a boat does!Had to take the neck brace off to wash the little girl (mommy didn't do a very good job). Can't see the scar (too much) which is good.

Yeah a bit crazy but the waters are smooth. We do have some great people around here. Sorry about hen. I think you're really going to like that Swedish hen I've heard a lot of nice things about them. Berrytangle farm out near you has them I think. They have some cool birds and wow are they nice people.Hi All,
It's been a chaotic few days, huh? I was "out" of here for a couple days but got it straightened out. The FB thing is interesting, it allowed me to locate a pullet I wanted (in Oregon!) and our great network of friends put together a relay, in a matter of minutes, to get him up to CR!
So... I'm getting a Swedish Flower Hen pullet to go with my other 2 pullets (GSL and Ameraucana). I'm hoping that by being close in age and still being young they will get along. I'm really egggsited!![]()
