Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Totalcolour,
I haven't heard back yet, please pm me ages, color, pictures, price, and lactation.
Thanks cherish
Well, I know I have one large cockerel, not sure about the others. I also have Marans, so I have to go and check each one to see which has the feathered legs. The cockerel is easy, he's really tall. The others I'm not sure about. I'm in Olympia. I'll let you know about the others tomorrow. They are about 3 months old give or take a week.

Elisha81 - thank you for the new "family". They will be well taken care of, and eggs will come to you in the spring!

Totalcolour,
Great thank you! What color are your giants? Black, blue, or splash? I am looking for a pullet.
Cherish

So we lost our male white faced whistling duck. Since then, our female has been even more distraught than whatever usual I could get in the 3 days we had them together. Does anyone have a male white faced whistling duck or any suggestions for someone to make her happy again? She flew into the chicken area and actually started sleeping in the turkey pen, and I figured she's lonely and I don't want to upset her any more so I'm allowing that until we can get a Drake for her. I know white faced breed for life, but they were only 5 months old or so. Not yet mature. Anyone have any ideas?

How's everyone doing on these super cold mornings? We've been around 33* the last 3-4 mornings. BRRR! Makes me wonder what the snow is going to be like this year. I turned on the heat lamp for the coop a week ago, we're going to winterize the rabbit hutch and the yard today...also going to make a trip under the house to check out the heating vents it's getting a little cold in here at 64*-65* so I guess it's time to turn the heat back on. ;)

Almost 12 weeks old

So have been looking around for a lavender Orp cockerel... Anyone out there? Or perhaps trade my Lav. Orp pullets for a bantam pair of some kind. Or couple of Icelandic hens. Or? No time constraints, just looking toward Spring and trying to fill the missing spots. I will be eating my 2 Birchen Marans cockerels when they get big enough, unless someone has a cockerel swap they'd like to do. Anyone have chicken math to work out?
:)

My sister had a young Muscovy that was lonely, so she gave her a lionfaced rabbit. They are a "bonded" pair and he sleeps under her wing.

I have an American lavender Orpington cockerel, soon to be rooster, for sale. I got hatching eggs and when I raised them next to my BBS English Orpingtons I discovered I like the English type better. The pullets are sold and so is one of the cockerels but I have one lavender remaining. I would like to get some lavender English Orpingtons but I am too poor right now since my husband has had a few temporary jobs since he was laid off in April but nothing permanent.
