Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Just popping in to say I'm going to be at the PNPA show this coming weekend. If anyone sees me, come say hi! BTW, we'll be showing under Infinity Heart Farm/Locke. We'll be taking sumatras, bantam wyandottes, legbars, and marans

See you there. As usual we'll be using the Iron Imagery booth as a focal point for getting together to say hello. No set time, just catch as catch can.

What variety Marans are you bringing?

Black copper pullet.

I look like my profile pic. Shaved head, will probably have a black carhart coat. If anyone sees me, you can call me Flyingmonkeypoop like most people do in person, or Mike, LOL

Aleta.... I hope we get to meet on Saturday. You'll know me when you see my avatar pinned to my shirt/jacket. :)
Hah! I momentarily considered roaming about with my Icee girl on my shoulder... Nah. I'll be hard to pick out. Flustered, too much feathered input, not enough time or funds... newbie syndrome. :) I will NOT be 'bringing the checkbook', that's sure!
If I think of something obvious, will let ya'll know. :)

Hope to see some of y'all at the show this weekend. I'll be splitting a sale booth with my buddy Steve, trying to get rid of the last of the Dorkings, Buttercup bantams and other misc breeds so I can focus better. Easy to spot 6'3", 280, medium longish brown hair. Don't be shy.

Hello, Washington! I've recently moved to Omak (long story) and even more recently taken custody of 6 hens coming into their 3rd year. I have two Sussex, three Rhode Island Reds, and a mystery red that's likely a) a mutt Red, b) a production Red, c) a Red Star, or d) a plain old mutt who happens to be red...we named her Lavender. Go figure.

Anyway, it's been a LONG time since I kept fowl (I was a kid last time I did it) and I'm enjoying every moment of this motley half-dozen. What I'm really looking forward to is building an 'Easter Egg' flock -- I do pysanky on the side and LOVE using naturally colored eggs.

My question is: is there anyone in the Okanogan area who has a flock of Easter Eggers already? Eventually I'll have room and facilities for breeding my own but I'm obviously starting small and these girls won't last forever, even if they are coming out of molt and giving me 3 nice brown eggs a day.
