Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Quiltin Gramma - Funny, I live on Tipsoo just north of the post office too! Where did you pick up your chicks? I have been looking at Yelm Farm and Feed and Del's. What breed did you go with?

Julia Stumfarmer has contacted me, she is having issues with just 1 male & trying to get more of her own flock bred...she needs a new male of different lineage...
And Andrea that moved has not contacted me yet !

Well, if any of my girls turn out to have been drag queens, and look decent... now I know who might take a stringy boy Hammie! Lol

And I am really starting to get upset at not being at the show. It IS a perfect time for plant and seed swaps! And I just spent $200 just to get SOME of the starter plants I want. I would LOVE to get together and share!

Hey guys!

Anyone know of a place or person I can buy some fertile eggs from in snohomish county? I have a broody girl as of yesterday and, this being her first spring, I'd like to see how she does at hatching.

Thanks so much!!!!

For stew I use Curry blocks in the Asian section. It comes in varying degrees of Hot, but none are hot at all. I think they mean the strength of the curry. All you do is add to the crock pot with the meat/veggies. Easy! Last time the other half mentioned how great it tasted, i didn't tell him what was different.

(a Japanese client uses it so i figured it'd be good!)

Hi,

Are any of you going to be traveling to northern California?

I need transport for a Delaware cockerel from Sherwood, OR (near Portland or I-5) to northern CA. He will be clean and have a health certificate. I desperately need this male for my breeding program this year, so would like to find someone soon. Mailing him would make the price more than I can pay.
I have a yearling purebred St. Croix ewe that I'm willing to trade in exchange for the transport, if someone is interested.

Thank you,
Kim

Flower World has eggs $4.99/doz.
Let her try those.

Thank you for the response. I called them and they said they didn't believe the eggs were fertile. :( but I'm going to get calling the feed stores in the area. If it has to wait until the Monroe this this Saturday, so be it, but I want to get eggs under her ASAP so I can see if she'll take to motherhood.

Keep it simple nursery also has eggs that they give away. I believe they are fertile. You can call and see if they still do that or charge a small fee.
