Roos are fairly easy to come by. Then hens are hard to find without taking a roo too.
Can you just do a Silkie roo and a Wyandotte hen to get your wilkie?

We have taters bug....millions of billions of tater bugs, and they love anything from plants, to dead vegetation, to wet softened wood ! Honestly we have found them in the ceiling of a coop, between the plywood roof decking & the insulation (styrofoam sheeting) they were eating the damp plywood !!!!Hornets over here are gone to cold.. no fleas.. but mice are a problem over here..soon as it's cold mice come in the coops shop the house.. have traps set everywhere.. caught 5 in the coop yesterday. . None today though maybe I got those newcomers
At least the Dragonflies eat bugs !I wish our ground wasps would retire already! Flippin flies and mosquitos are still about too. The first dragon fly went down a couple days ago do I know those darn stingy things will go dormant soon too.
Oh the birds LOVE digging through the leaves don't they ?

I have never seen it ! How odd !!It's been said to be a spammer... usually in mobile mode it's unnoticeable other than delays, duplication of pages, and inability to post. In desktop mode it shows up as Asian characters.... no clue why a poultry social media site but it's been going on here and there throughout the sight for a couple months now.
@Hinatori has a whole mess'a Silkies !Where did you get your silkie eggs? Would love to add a couple to my flock.
It's been cold at night. I wouldn't be surprised if we got some snow this year.
