Give in. It's the best incubator for your money. Best customer service, ever. They really are wonderful is something happens to the product during shipping or if it arrives with something not quite right.

Got some feed store chicks on 3/10, and this Ancona turned out to be a roo. Free to good home. Thought I'd check here to see if anyone wants him before I have to cull. Landlady will not allow. Please PM or quote this post in a reply if you're interested. Will deliver anywhere between Kent and Mt. Vernon.

Spent the day separating the wood still in decent shape from the old coop we pulled down this weekend. Using as much as I can for raised beds where the old coop used to stand. Hubby was happy to see the pile of scrap reduced by quite a bit. So sore and tired though. I hate nailed together construction. Horrible to take apart.

oh I can just imagine

Would this be a good size tractor for 3 larg hens..they will be out in the fenced yard while we are outside but in a tractor while we are not watching them. 5'4" wide, 10'8" long. Nesting box 4' x 3'. I also have two lare rabbit hutches im connecting and combinging to make them a big secure coop.

Just want to make sure this will do.
Fingers crossed it will be 3 bielefelders!

I am worried about a bidding war. The agent is set up for reviewing offers tomorrow to allow for competition. Our starting offer is 15k over asking and I am still unsure if we will have the best offer.

I can't wait to have chickens again.

ZooKeeper, I ran a chick/started puller business in Colorado a few years back. I made a profit too, just not enough at the time and then I was mobilized. PM me with your questions and I will help as much as I can.

I am in Covington too if you want to hang out with chickens!

Pullets are starting to explore the main coop have
not ventured to the door or outside yet. Mom has
come for a week

Drover, if things were any less crazy I would take you up on that!

We got the house in Graham! Now to work out all the details. :D

Tobias (oldest son) and I did a fair bit of chatting and we are leaning heavily towards salmon Faverolles. They meet his fluffiness requirements and my egg laying requirements.

I wonder if there is a 4H in the area. :)
