Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Hello. My name is Pat and I live near Centralia Washington. Right now we have mixed breed chickens along with some Rhode Island Reds. We've had chickens for many years but just lately I've gotten interested in hatching. I'm setting my second hatch tomorrow and the picture is of our first hatch.

Welcome to our addictive thread !!

Well, a little wax job & she ought to be good as new.
We have 2, one is a very nice I/O pleasure craft, great for touring & skiing, it is a california boat...it is for sale was %$5K but I think Einstein would reduce price...the boat has been sitting tarped here for 5 years now ? We have taken it out a few times, but we like the little aluminum one for here in the river (or up at Mossyrock)

This is the "little" aluminum boat...we rebuilt the floor & just love the little boat it is so easy to take anywhere...we are looking tor a new trailer if anyone has one for sale, ours has got the rust BAD....Our water here is brackish, and the farther out we go it gets saltier. And we routinely go out into the Willapa Bay, which is about pure salt water. The boat launch in South bend is about 99% salt water...it will eat your trailer & wheels & bearings unless they are aluminum.
I want a small yard tractor, and an Alumaweld trailer !!

Nice boats... trailers are pain people tend to think they are made of gold when they go to sell them... James and I bought the house together and he has a Kawasaki side by side or mule as they call them with a dump bed when he received his award from
L & I he bought it new then we have 2 snapper mowers with tow bars on them also with the mule and them wen really do not need much else...
The trailer we have for the boat Richard made himself about 8 years ago he had modify it a bit the guy that gave us the valiant gave us the rollers also but Richard had built for a 8 ft fiberglass sciff

Is it an I&O or need an outboard ? The good part outboards easy to find out here & it is easy to finance a 4 stroke.
Our little 9.0 is great, unless we are in the bay, and the wind is blowing out to sea, and the tide is going OUT and we have to get back ASAP to the boat launch or else !
If you miss that window of oppurtunity, you have to hang around out in the river until the tide comes back in, or you cannot put out! Especially in a minus tide....

oh it will be a outboard she has a shelf for one Chrysler made these for their car clubs back in early 60's
first tri hull and the other boat companies learned from them

when we found it on Craigslist we jumped to get it all we paid was transfer of title...

I will dry them and try to stockpile them. I will be get them for free so I can't charge for them. I will P.M. you to let you know how the drying goes. Will not have them until a couple weeks.

The folks where out there one time and the outboard died they where in like a 18 footer
found they didn't have oars and rowed/baled back in with a bucket

Beautiful birds. What is their laying patterns?
Golden (or more properly name Mahogany Crele) Bielefelders look like this:

Their eggs look like this:

Jumbo...I'd say 80% are L- XL and the rest can be over jumbo size with double-yolkers not uncommon.

What I am doing is making a new coloration of this breed, Silver Crele...this is a Silver Crele Marans (from Bev Davis) so you can see the hen's coloration in a "Silver Crele"

Below is several chicks, the yellow one is a White marans, the silvery gray chipmunks are the Silver Crele, and the brown/gold chipmunks are the regular Gold (Mahogany Crele) as the adults shown above. So you can see the color differences in the chicks.

So we are very excited about the new coloration !

It is funny now, but I bet they were freakin back then !
Einstein is a serious boat guy...he has oars, flags, WAY too many life jackets, towels, horns, first aid kits..usually a 2nd charged battery, and a trolling motor up front helps ALOT when your outboard will not start!

@ chickielady those are beautiful birds quite impressive
but I need to go make biscuits and gravy one of my friends favorite from me
