Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I am so sick of rain................already...............it rained so hard a few times last night that it woke me up as thundering on the roof.and we have %-38 insulation...and it could not insulate out the pounding rain ! This insulation is over20" thick !

The chicken pens are poop soup again...I have washed them out 1 X a week now.You do not even want to see what my White Marans look like !

We were gone over the weekend so I had the chicks in the brooder. Grafted then onto a broody hen this morning. She happily took them.

They are "chick"munks! Partridge silkies

And here's an unhappy Ashes with the white chick. He did not want that strange creature near him.

You don't have to worry about bathing them they will happily stand out in the rain.

I usually only bathe poopy butts or too muddy feet. Or muddy crests. Silly things figured out that mud works like gel.

Have to trim nails on them regularly, though. They don't wear them down like my big girls do.
