Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

That was the reaction she had when a slug had the nerve to crawl around in the nest that she wanted to lay in.

I have a sick chicken. I posted a thread in the health section. I've never had a sick one before and I'm scared. She's not eating, is skinny, her crop is almost empty, and I found her laying in the nest box instead of up on the roost tonight. I brought her indoors in a dog crate with food that I soaked and with water with electrolytes. I don't know what to do. :-(

She is about one year old, Easter Egger from a hatchery. She is not eating much at all from what I can tell. Don't know about drinking but she hasn't drank anything since I put her in the dog crate. Her comb is red. Her tummy feels soft and she doesn't act like she's in pain when I poke around at it. I'm not sure when she last laid an egg but I know it has been within the last four or five days.

Im not sure what could be wrong with her.

I tube birds that aren't willingly eating with thin baby parrot food.
