Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

It has been hard around here the last couple days. I have made the decision to have my dog put down tomorrow morning. She is 15 1/2 years old. Half Springer half lab. And she has hip dysplasia or which is pretty much leaving her unable to walk now. I am devastated even though I know this is the right decision. It is just so **** hard. I have been crying on and off all day. I took her outside and she was able to walk a little bit in the grass. It was sunny and sort of warm. Here's a picture of her from today. Her name is Aspen.

I am so sorry you have such a decision to make I do understand
and wish her a safe journey across the bridge where there will be no more pain
but for the ones to go on without you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you

One of my speckled Sussex had blood all over her head today. Freaked me out. I wiped it off with a rag. I did a thread asking if it was frostbite but never really got an answer. Tomorrow I will put some Neosporin on it. Any ideas?

Where you able to look for wounds? did you do a photo when she had the blood on her?

I'm so sorry. I went through that a few years ago. I cried for weeks.
