okay well http://www.woodshayandgrain.com/about_woods.html am driving 2 and a half hours for this food as our Dels is being shut down by tractor supply refuse to go to their stores for anything now.. I am getting more eggs with this food my birds love it..

Do you go all the way to Sandpoint Idaho? Or does a local store carry it?

Riecieved eggs in the mail this morning they need to sit fat side up for 12 hours before they go under broody hen right?

I would question that because of the broody hopefully someone in the know will answer that

Yes. The eggs need to rest for a bit. I thought it was 24 hours, but I haven't done shipped eggs before. Loose aircells can cause issues under broodies.

I agree but have not worked with a broody since I was small and just
knew to stay away as they could be mean

I keep trying to get hubby to reach in and pet the blue silkie with chicks. He says he's not dumb and has heard my stories about her.

I own kevlar sleeves I have to wear around certain broodies
